About this product range

This heavy-bodied oil adds elasticity and moisture to paints, improves their flow, makes them more transparent, and helps with leveling. Utrecht Stand Oil is made from linseed oil that has been heated in an oxygen-starved environment to thicken it to a high viscosity. Use it instead of regular linseed oil to create enamel-like glazes with less visible brushwork. It is handcrafted in Brooklyn, New York.
