A fun alternative to traditional tie-dye, Jacquard Ice Dye Kits contain everything you need to transform your plain T-shirts into brilliant, kaleidoscopic works of art. Each kit's powdered dye blend contains multiple distinct colors that split, separate, and spread into dramatic crystalline patterns when exposed to melting ice or snow.

Simply soak your cotton fabric in a 1:8 soda ash solution, then scrunch or fold it, cover with ice, and sprinkle the dye on top. As the ice melts, some colors will sink into creased areas while others bloom between the folds, producing gorgeous swirls and striations. By prepping your fabric with soda ash fixer prior to dyeing, fully cured designs can be washed regularly without losing their vibrance.
