Snag has a nose for art supplies and no use for pretend bargains. He scouts out the materials you want, with a notebook that tells you what we actually know.

Keep the source.
Real retailer listings. Exact products and variants. A missing price stays missing.

Show the evidence.
Undated imports are catalog snapshots, not live prices. Dated history begins with a successful retailer check.

Never invent the drop.
One checked price is one observation, not a trend. Undated snapshots never become price drops or target alerts.

These flexible silicone tools are designed for use with heavy-bodied paints, Catalyst is at home with oils, acrylics, and water-miscible oils. Because they are heat-resistant, they excel with encaustics. Artists are using them with plaster and clay. The silicone is easy to wipe clean and is solvent resistant. Clean up in most cases can be done with mild soap and water. Dried paint can be peeled off the silicone surface. Catalyst blades can even be separated from their wood handles for cleaning and easily replaced when dry.
