About this supply
Hawthorn Zinc Etching Plates are suitable for drypoint and etching. Each 1mm thick plate is protected with a removable plastic film on both sides.
The front of the plate should be degreased before use, and the back will require the application of an acid-resistant stop out.
These 1mm plates are also suitable for non-etching intaglio techniques such as drypoint and engraving.
