Schmincke Primacryl Professional Fluid Acrylic Paint is a highly pigmented, professional-quality acrylic color with excellent lightfastness.
In 2025, Schmincke reformulated Primacryl with an innovative binder that contains no synthetic polymer microparticles, making the paint microplastic-free. Of the 48 colors, 47 are free from animal-based ingredients, and all jars are made from recycled plastic.
The fluid consistency of Primacryl Professional Fluid Acrylic Paint makes it ideal for smooth, flat brushwork, flowing lines, and fine details. There is minimal color shift between wet and dry paint for accurate color matching, and the range has lightfastness ratings of four and five stars. All Cadmium colors are Cadmium-free and formulated with alternative pigments to closely match traditional Cadmium colors.
