Princeton : Catalyst Contour and Wedge Tools

Princeton Catalyst Contour and Wedge Tools are ergonomically designed to fit comfortably in the hand, allowing direct and expressive interaction with the working surface. They are intended for use with heavy-bodied paints and textured materials.

Suitable for oils, acrylics, and water-mixable oils, these tools are also heat-resistant, making them well-suited to encaustic techniques. Artists use them with plaster, clay, and other sculptural materials. The solvent-resistant surfaces are easy to wipe clean, with most residue removable using mild soap and water, and dried paint can be peeled away.

Catalyst Contours are made from stiffer nylon than Wedge tools, with a comfort-touch finish and feature multiple edge shapes for creating varied marks and textures in heavy acrylic mediums and plaster. Integrated hanging holes support easy studio organization.
